The most important works, two large Gothic reliquary crucifixes came to the Kolumba collection in 2001 as a donation from the Renate König Foundation. The comprehensively illustrated workbook now presents the eventful history of these crosses, which may be traced back to the year 1267, and examines the salvational significance attributed to the reliquaries.
